New Orleans Hornets were founded in 1988. They are based in New
Orleans, Louisiana, USA. They are formerly known as the Charlotte
Hornets, then moved to New Orleans in 2003. The Hornets play all of
their home games at New Orleans Arena. In January of 2005 it was
reported that the Hornets were considering a move to Kansas City,
Missouri.
