The
Memphis Grizzlies were formed in 1995 as the Vancouver Grizzlies. They
became the Memphis Grizzlies after the 2001 season. They are now based
in Memphis, Tennessee. They play all of their home games at FedEx Forum

the 2004 season Hubie Brown stepped down as head coach because of
health reasons. At the time the Grizzlies had a losing record and West
brought in TNT analyst and former coach, Mike Fratello as Hubie's
replacement. Since then the Grizzlies have greatly improved and are now
looking to make the postseason for the second consecutive season.
