St. Louis Cardinals news and history:
The
St. Louis Cardinals were founded in 1882. They are formerly known as
the St. Louis Brown Stockings, Browns, and Perfectors. They became the
“Cardinals” in 1900. The Cardinals have played their home games at
Busch Stadium since 1966. They play in the Central Division of the
National League. In 2004 they won the National League pennant. They
wear red, white, and blue uniforms. The Cardinals mascot is “Fredbird”.
